Technologies are changing paradigms, dimensions on facilitating and bring the desired convenience to an avid consumer in their daily lives. An advanced version of transportation is the S.M.A.R.T Driverless Vehicles, once considered impossible to accomplish, will soon become an innate possibility. Driverless cars strive to work on three key parameters/ technologies:

Advanced GPS / VPS (in future) will improvise and more accurate by plugging vital breakthroughs in the 3D Mappings – exciting times are in store in this space too
Algorithms: Algorithms in a Software capture, record, analyze data recovered from sensors/tools to make accurate decisions on when to start driving, use steering when to brake when to increase speed when to apply brakes, when to use indicators and when to use maps enabled route guidance. While a lot of technological breakthroughs have happened in this space, undoubtedly, the most difficult and complex component is to match Human Intelligence with artificial intelligence enabled algorithm handling multiple tasks across all situations.
